Bids sought for Sai Kung government property and Stanley government canteen tenancies

     The Government Property Agency is inviting bids for separate tenancies of a government property at the Ground Floor (including the yard and cockloft thereof), 65 Man Nin Street, Sai Kung, and a government canteen at the Ground Floor, Block A, Stanley Prison, 91 Tung Tau Wan Road, Stanley, each for a term of three years respectively.

     The property in Sai Kung should be used for the purposes of shop, services, restaurant or office (excluding temple, shop for retailing or wholesaling of coffins, godown, hotel, cinema, garage, motor vehicle repairing, maintenance, lubricating and washing services, residential and any offensive trade under the Public Health and Municipal Services Ordinance (Cap. 132), any regulations made thereunder and any amending legislation) while that in Stanley should be used for the purposes of a canteen only.

     The tender notices were gazetted today (June 28). Tender documents are available for collection at the Government Property Agency, 31/F, Revenue Tower, 5 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, during office hours (8.30am to 5.45pm from Mondays to Fridays). The documents can also be downloaded from the Agency's website: www.gpa.gov.hk.

     Interested bidders who wish to inspect the sites should make prior appointment with the Government Property Agency by calling 2594 7697 on or before July 15 this year.

     Bidders must submit their tenders by placing them in the Government Logistics Department Tender Box at the Ground Floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, Hong Kong, before noon on July 25 this year. Late tenders will not be accepted.
