The Site Safety Forum for Works Contracts and Property Services Contracts 2013, jointly organised by the Hong Kong Housing Authority and the Occupational Safety and Health Council, was held today (June 26) at the Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre.
The forum has now been held seven times, and the theme for this year's forum was "Key to Safety: I Act with a Caring Heart". Site safety innovations were introduced, aiming to encourage more innovation from the industry to improve safety levels at sites. In addition, analyses were drawn from simulated cases on site accidents, while professionals from the construction, property management and cleaning services sectors also shared their views and experience on safe practices, providing more than 600 participants with practical information on site safety.
The Site Safety Forum for Works Contracts and Property Services Contracts aims to enhance site safety awareness and establish proper attitudes, values and vision towards safety.
