Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Wong Tai Sin this morning (June 18) in which a 72-year-old man was killed.
About 8am, a public light bus driven by a 58-year-old man was traveling along Ching Tak Street towards Tung Tau Estate. When approaching near Lower Wong Tai Sin Estate, it reportedly knocked down the 72-year-old man.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the man was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was certified dead at 3.16pm.
The case will be handed over to Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East.
