The President of the Legislative Council (LegCo), Mr Jasper Tsang, started his visit to the United Kingdom (UK) Parliament on June 10 (London time), his first overseas duty visit in his capacity of the President of the Fifth LegCo since assuming the office of presidency in October last year.
Mr Tsang began his visit by calling on the Leader of the House of Commons, Mr Andrew Lansley, and the Clerk of the Overseas Office, House of Commons, Mr Crispin Poyser. Mr Tsang also took the opportunity to tour the House of Commons and observe the proceedings of the meeting of the House of Commons. He will continue his visit to London today (June 11, London time) to meet with the Lord Speaker and other parliamentary Clerks.
