Temporary suspension of Mobile Library 4, 5, 7 and 9 services

     The services provided by Mobile Libraries 4, 5, 7 and 9 will be suspended for designated periods in June and July for routine maintenance, a Leisure and Cultural Services Department spokesman announced today (June 11).

     The service points of Mobile Library 5 to be affected from June 17 to 22 are Chevalier Garden, Pok Hong Estate and Kam Ying Court in Sha Tin; Ming Tak Estate and Tsui Lam Estate in Tseung Kwan O; and Tai Wo Estate and On Ho Lane in Tai Po. For enquiries about Mobile Library 5 services, please call 2696 5842.

     The service points of Mobile Library 7 to be affected from June 20 to 26 are Whampoa Garden in Hung Hom, Hoi Fu Court in Mong Kok West, Sceneway Garden in Lam Tin, Ko Yee Estate in Yau Tong, Chuk Yuen (South) Estate in Wong Tai Sin and Hoi Lai Estate in Sham Shui Po. To enquire about Mobile Library 7 services, please call 2926 3056.

     The service points of Mobile Library 9 to be affected from June 27 to July 3 are Kai Yip Estate in Kowloon Bay, Tsui Ping (South) Estate in Kwun Tong, Tin Wan Estate in Aberdeen, Oi Tung Estate in Aldrich Bay, Tai Hong Street in Lei King Wan and Heng Fa Chuen in Chai Wan. For enquiries about Mobile Library 9 services, please call 2505 4690.

     The service points of Mobile Library 4 to be affected from June 28 to July 11 are Yat Tung Estate in Tung Chung, Discovery Bay, Pui O, Shui Hau and Tong Fuk. To enquire about Mobile Library 4 services, please call 2984 9417.

     People are welcome to use other public libraries during the service suspension periods. They may also renew library materials by telephoning 2698 0002 or 2827 2833, or via the Internet at www.hkpl.gov.hk/english/catalogues/catalogues_rbr/catalogues_rbr.html.
