Additional performances of magic theatre "MAN2BOY" (with photos)
*********************************************************

Two extra shows of the magic theatre "MAN2BOY" have been scheduled at the large-scale summer festival International Arts Carnival in response to overwhelming public demand. Tickets will be available from tomorrow (June 7) at URBTIX.

A first-time collaboration between Harry Wong and "Love in a Puff" scriptwriter Heiward Mak, "MAN2BOY" is a tale of a man growing backwards in time to become a boy again. It all begins with a century-old Almighty Magic Timer that has lost its wizardry. By employing magic, puppetry, games and special effects to create a humorous and interactive performance, "MAN2BOY" reveals the secrets of three male generations.

Presented by Sol Concept, with venue and ticketing services sponsored by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the additional performances of "MAN2BOY" will be held at 3pm on August 3 and at 7.30pm on August 4 at the Kwai Tsing Theatre Auditorium, with tickets priced at $200, $160 and $120.

Limited tickets are still available for the other performances at Kwai Tsing Theatre Auditorium on August 2 and 3 at 7.30pm, and on August 4 at 3pm at the same price as above; and performances at Yuen Long Theatre Auditorium on August 10 at 7.30pm and on August 11 at 3pm, with tickets priced at $180, $140 and $100. The show will be conducted in Cantonese.

Half-price tickets are available for full-time students, senior citizens, people with disabilities and their minders, and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance recipients. Booking discounts of up to 20 per cent are available for full-price performing arts and film programmes.

The International Arts Carnival, organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, is one of the events under the "Vibrant Hong Kong" theme of the "Hong Kong: Our Home" Campaign. Programme brochures are available at URBTIX outlets or at the carnival website www.hkiac.gov.hk.
