These events all support the "Hong Kong: Our Home" public participation campaign, which aims to inject positive energy into society, foster social cohesion and promote care, mutual help and solidarity in the community.

The Campaign provides a platform to enhance the publicity of events and activities that engage a wide cross-section of the community and showcase Hong Kong as a liveable and enjoyable city, giving residents a greater sense of pride in their home and a stronger sense of belonging.

More than 210 Partner Organisations have so far pledged their support for the "Hong Kong: Our Home" Campaign. Partner Organisations that have come on board since the Campaign launch on April 23 include the 18 District Councils, the Boys' and Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Outstanding Youth Volunteers' Association and the Hong Kong Jockey Club.

Altogether, the Government and Partner Organisations are organising more than 570 events/activities under the four supporting themes of the Campaign from the end of April to the end of December this year.
