The Financial Secretary, Mr John C Tsang, has re-appointed Mr Wong Kai-man as a non-executive director of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) under authority delegated by the Chief Executive. The appointment is for a term of two years from May 26, 2013.
Announcing the appointment today (May 24), a Government spokesman said, "Mr Wong Kai-man has contributed to the promotion of good corporate governance of the SFC during his tenure. We look forward to his continued support for the work of the SFC."
The SFC is chaired by Mr Carlson Tong. Other serving non-executive directors are Mr Chan Kam-lam, Professor Leonard Cheng Kwok-hon, Mr Anderson Chow Ka-ming, Ms Teresa Ko Yuk-yin, Mr Lawrence Lee Kam-hung and Dr Kelvin Wong Tin-yau.
