The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, met the visiting Secretary of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee, Mr Zhao Kezhi, and the Governor of Guizhou Province, Mr Chen Min'er, at Government House this morning (May 20) to exchange views on issues of mutual concern.
Mr Leung welcomed the visit by Mr Zhao and Mr Chen to attend the opening ceremony of Guizhou-Hong Kong investment and trade week and wished the event every success.
Emphasising the close economic and trade relations between Hong Kong and Guizhou, Mr Leung said that the two places could complement each other's strengths, with Hong Kong introducing international capital, talent and technology into Guizhou to speed up the latter's development progress.
