The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (May 16) that the following leisure and sports facilities will be temporarily closed:
(a) The soccer pitch at Tsing Yi Sports Ground will be temporarily closed for turf maintenance from May 20 to June 30. The running track will remain open. During the closure, the public may use the soccer pitch at Kwai Chung Sports Ground or Wo Yi Hop Road Sports Ground in the same district.
(b) The soccer pitch at Tai Po Sports Ground will be closed for irrigation system upgrade works and turf maintenance from May 21 to September 30. The running track will remain open. During the closure, the public may use the soccer pitch at Kwong Fuk Football Ground or Kwong Fuk Park Football Pitch in the same district.
(c) The soccer pitch at Tin Shui Wai Sports Ground will be temporarily closed for turf maintenance from May 22 to July 2. The running track will remain open. During the closure, the public may use the soccer pitch at the nearby Yuen Long Stadium.
