Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Yau Ma Tei this (May 11) morning in which a 74-year-old man died.
At about 7.43am, a public light bus driven by a 37-year-old man was travelling along southbound Nathan Road. When reaching Man Ming Lane, it reportedly knocked down the 74-year-old man who was crossing the road.
The man sustained serious head injury and was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was certified dead at 5.01pm.
The case has been handed over to the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West.
