Web-based enrolment for Yi Jin Diploma programme commences today

     The Education Bureau (EDB) announced today (May 4) that the enrolment for the Yi Jin Diploma full-time programme for the 2013/14 academic year commenced today through a Web-based registration system.

     A spokesman for the EDB said, "Secondary Six school leavers or adults aged 21 or above may apply for enrolment through the Yi Jin Diploma Programme Web-based Registration System."

     During the first-phase admission for the full-time programme which commenced today, applicants may visit the Yin Jin Diploma enrolment website (www.yjd.edu.hk) for details of the programme and apply for enrolment.

     The spokesman said, "Applicants must complete the application procedure on the Web-based Registration System and pay an enrolment fee before 4pm on July 16."  

     "Students and learners may visit the 'Information Expo on Multiple Pathways 2013' being held at the Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre today and tomorrow from 10am to 6pm for further information on the programme."  

     For the full-time programme, places will be allocated by computer balloting having regard to the priority and choices indicated by the applicants. It will not be allotted on a first-come-first-served basis.  Further details are available at the Yin Jin Diploma enrolment website," the spokesman said.

     During the second phase of admission which will start on July 17, applicants should submit their applications to the provider institutions for processing.

     For the part-time programme, students and learners may obtain information from the respective institutions and submit their applications to the institutions direct, subject to further announcements by these institutions.
