Police further arrested a 29-year-old man in Tai Po this morning (May 3) in suspected connection with the murder case in which a 30-year-old man was killed in Sheung Shui on April 28.
The arrestee will be detained overnight for further enquiries.
Police arrested five men aged between 18 and 30 in suspected connection with the case earlier. A 21-year-old man arrested on May 1 was holding charged with one count of murder and appeared at Fanling Magistrates’ Courts today. The remaining four persons arrested on April 28 and 29 were released on bail pending further enquiries.
Investigations by the Regional Crime Unit of New Territories North are underway.
