Tai O No.3 alarm fire roundup

A No.3 alarm fire broke out at No. 81-89, Kat Hing Street, Tai O this afternoon (May 2). The fire broke out at 3.07pm and was upgraded to No.3 alarm at 3.38pm. The fire was surrounded at 4.49pm and was largely put out at 4.59pm.
A range of tin-sheeted and wooden structures (about 16m x 18m) were involved and were severely damaged.
Firemen used seven jets and mobilised three breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze.
No casualties have been reported so far.
