Information Expo on Multiple Pathways 2013 to be held this weekend

     An information expo showing the multiple pathways open to secondary school graduates will be held on May 4 and 5 (Saturday and Sunday) at the Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre.

     A spokesman for the Education Bureau (EDB) said today (May 2), "To help candidates of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination and other graduates plan well for their further studies and career pathways, the Information Expo on Multiple Pathways 2013 features enquiry services and course information from post-secondary and vocational education institutions.

     "More than 30 exhibition booths will provide information on full-time locally accredited post-secondary programmes not covered by the Joint University Programmes Admissions System, the Yi Jin Diploma programme and vocational education programmes, as well as the Information Portal for Accredited Post-secondary Programmes website, the Electronic Advance Application System for Post-secondary Programmes, and the e-Navigator. In addition, Hok Yau Club, the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups and the Hong Kong Young Women's Christian Association will provide advisory services to students at the event.

     "There will also be talks on multiple study pathways for school graduates and career planning."

     The information expo will be held from 10am to 6pm at Rotunda 1 of Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre, 1 Trademart Drive. The event is organised by the EDB, with the Federation for Self-financing Tertiary Education, the Hong Kong Association of Careers Masters and Guidance Masters and Hong Kong Education City as supporting organisations. Admission is free.
