The Labour Department will organise a seminar on the productivity assessment for employees with disabilities under the statutory minimum wage regime on May 7 (Tuesday). Employers, persons with disabilities and their parents as well as rehabilitation organisations are welcome to attend. The seminar will be held at 10am at the Multi-purpose Hall of the Henry G Leong Yaumatei Community Centre, 60 Public Square Street, Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon. Details of the productivity assessment mechanism for employees with disabilities under the Minimum Wage Ordinance will be introduced.
The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese with sign language interpretation service provided and admission is free. The deadline for enrolment is May 2 and seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. For enquiries, please call 2852 3856.
