The Government announced today (March 15) that the Chief Executive has re-appointed Mr Tim Lui Tim-leung as the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Directorate Salaries and Conditions of Service (the Directorate Committee) for another term of two years from April 1, 2013, to March 31, 2015.
The Chief Executive has also re-appointed one existing member, Mr Stanley Wong Yuen-fai, and appointed Mrs Betty Yuen So Siu-mai as a new member to the Directorate Committee, both for a term of two years with effect from April 1, 2013.
The Government also expresses gratitude for the service of Mr Chow Chung-kong, who will retire from the Directorate Committee at the end of this month following six years of service and valuable contributions.
The Directorate Committee advises the Government on matters relating to the structure, pay and conditions of service of the directorate ranks in the civil service. Other serving members of the Directorate Committee are Ms Chiang Lai-yuen, Dr Eliza Chan Ching-har and Mr Pang Yiu-kai.
