Vacancy in Kwun Tong District Council

The Government declared by notice in the Gazette today (March 15) the existence of a vacant elected seat in the Kwun Tong District Council (Ping Shek Constituency).
Following the resignation of elected member Mr Chan Pak-li, Bernard, the office has become vacant pursuant to section 26(b) of the District Councils Ordinance (Cap 547).
The Registration and Electoral Office will arrange a by-election.
