Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tseung Kwan O last night (March 13) in which a 21-year-old motorcyclist was killed.
About 11.45pm yesterday, a motorcycle driven by the 21-year-old man was travelling along Tai Au Mun Road towards Clear Water Bay Beach. When approaching Clear Water Bay Second Beach, the motorcycle reportedly lost control and rammed into a lamp post on the roadside.
The motorcyclist sustained serious head injury and was rushed to Tseung Kwan O Hospital where he was certified dead at 0.21am today (March 14).
The case will be handover to the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East for further investigation.
