Police today (March 11) appealed to the members of the public for information on a dead body found at the sea off Lamma Island on February 4.
At about 9.35am on that day, Police received a report that a dead body was floating in the sea off Ha Mei Wan. The body was believed to be a Chinese man aged between 55 and 65.
No identity document was found in his possession. The deceased stood about 1.65 meters and was of medium build. He has a round face, yellow complexion with short grey hair. He was wearing a black windbreaker, a black sweater, a pair of blue jeans and a pair of grey shoes with white socks.
Initial Police investigation revealed no suspicious circumstance surrounding the death.
Police urged anyone who knows the identity of the deceased to contact the officers of Administration and Support Sub-unit of Cheung Chau Division on 2986 0231.
