Police are investigating a traffic accident in Sha Tin today (March 10) in which a 51-year-old man died.
At about 4pm, the 51-year-old man was riding a bicycle travelling downhill along Sui Wo Road. When it passed Sui Wo Court, the bicycle reportedly lost control and rammed into a pedestrian roadside divider. The man fell and hit a concrete ditch cover.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the man was sent to the Prince of Wales Hospital where he was certified dead at 6.35pm.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South are underway.
