Sha Tin District Council by-election turnout (as at 4.30pm)

     As at 4.30pm today (March 10), 2,361 of the 8,091 registered electors of the Tin Sum Constituency had cast their votes in the Sha Tin District Council by-election, representing a turnout of 29.18 per cent. (The voter turnout figures are only for temporary reference.)

     The polling station at Lung Hang Estate Community Centre will remain open until 10.30pm.

     The dedicated polling station at Tin Sum Police Station will remain open until 10.30pm. It has been set up for electors in the Tin Sum Constituency remanded or detained by law enforcement agencies other than the Correctional Services Department (CSD) to cast their ballots.

     Six dedicated polling stations were also set up in penal institutions for electors in the constituency who are imprisoned or remanded in the CSD's custody to cast their votes in their respective penal institutions. For security reasons, the polling hours were from 9am to 4pm.
