Appeal for information on a dead body found in North Point

     Police today (March 7) appealed to the public for information on a body found in North Point on October 4, 2012.

     At about 9.45am on that day, Police received a report that some odd smell was observed from somewhere on Braemar Hill Road. After investigations, a seriously-decomposed male body was found inside a broken hut near the hillside at 20 Braemar Hill Road.

     The body was believed to be a middle-aged or an elderly man with no identity document found in his possession. Standing about 1.75 metres, he was wearing a sweater, a vest and a pair of trousers when he was found.

     Initial investigations revealed that there was no suspicious circumstance surrounding his death.

     Police urged anyone who knows the identity of the deceased to contact the officers of Miscellaneous Enquiries Sub-unit of North Point Division on 2880 4237 or 3661 1608.
