Seminar for SMEs on "Starting or Growing a Business through Franchising"

     The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will hold a seminar entitled "Starting or Growing a Business through Franchising" on March 25 (Monday). The seminar will explain the key features of franchising and how it works, as well as major considerations when starting or expanding business through franchising.

     Speakers will include the Principal Solicitor of He Qilian & Associates, Ms Elaine Ho; the Managing Director of Sunshine Laundry Convenience Store Co Ltd, Mr Ringo Wong; and the Chief Executive Officer of JHC Group, Mr Peter Lau.  The speakers will highlight the key factors in running a franchised business and important considerations before buying a franchise. They will share their experience in developing a successful franchise network and introduce their support services for franchisees.

     The seminar will be held at 2.30pm in the Lecture Theatre, G/F, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay (MTR Tin Hau station, exit B).  The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free.
