The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government fully supports the work of the Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong (TIC) and respects the decision of its Board of Directors to exercise the TIC's power as the regulatory body to activate the process of suspending the membership of the 3A Holidays Company Limited.

The Registrar of Travel Agents has just received the notice of the decision of the TIC Board. Any action by the Government will take on the premise to uphold public interests, and to safeguard the rights and interests of tourists.

The Government will not tolerate any behaviours that infringe upon the rights and interests of tourists, nor appease any travel agents involving in malpractices.
