Exhibition spotlights Roman ingenuity

     The Roman Empire was one of the greatest ancient powers in world history. In its heyday, its territory extended to Europe, Asia and Africa. Julius Caesar stands out as the most powerful and famous Roman emperor.

     A special Hong Kong Science Museum exhibition spotlights his era, showcasing its creative and superior war machines, and Caesar's astonishing achievements. The Hong Kong Science Museum's Assistant Curator, Ms Paulina Chan, introduced some of the highlights to news.gov.hk, including the ingenious war machines, the extensive Roman road networks, and innovative measuring and surveying tools.
