The Town Planning Board today (January 25) announced amendments to the approved Fanling/Sheung Shui Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments mainly involve the rezoning of a site at Choi Yuen Road from "Government, Institution or Community" ("G/IC") and "Open Space" ("O") to "Residential (Group A)1" ("R(A)1") and the rezoning of a site to the south of Yung Shing Court from "G/IC" and "Green Belt" ("GB") to "R(A)2" to facilitate two planned public housing developments. Notes of the "R(A)" zone have been revised to incorporate remarks relating to the "R(A)1" zone and the "R(A)2" zone.
The draft Fanling/Sheung Shui OZP No. S/FSS/17, incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Town Planning Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters of the Planning Department in North Point and Sha Tin, the Sha Tin, Tai Po and North District Planning Office, the North District Office, the Fanling District Rural Committee and the Sheung Shui District Rural Committee.
Any person may make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Town Planning Board on or before March 25. Representations made to the Town Planning Board will be available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft Fanling/Sheung Shui OZP are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the OZP can be viewed at the Town Planning Board's website at www.info.gov.hk/tpb.
