Police will implement special traffic arrangements on January 6 (Sunday) to facilitate a public procession to be held on Hong Kong Island.
A public procession will depart Southorn Playground at 2.30pm for Central Government Offices via westbound Hennessy Road, westbound Queensway, the footbridge connecting Pacific Place and Queensway Plaza, Queensway Plaza, the footbridge connecting Queensway Plaza and United Centre, the footbridge connecting United Centre and CITIC Tower, the footbridge across Tim Mei Avenue, Harcourt Road northern pavement (eastward) and Tim Mei Avenue western pavement (northward).
Police will intermittently close some traffic lanes along the procession routes when necessary.
Motorists are also advised to drive with care and patience, and follow the direction of the Police.
