The Commission of Inquiry into the Collision of Vessels near Lamma Island on 1 October 2012 will resume its hearing on Monday (January 7). Subject to change by further directions of the Commission, the hearing time each day will be from 10am to 1pm and from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
The hearing, which will be open to the public, will be held at the hearing room on the first floor, Main Wing, Central Government Offices, Lower Albert Road, Central, Hong Kong. There will also be a simultaneous closed-circuit video/audio broadcast of the proceedings to the hearing transmission gallery (the overflow room) on the fourth floor of the same building.
After resuming on January 7, the hearing will continue on weekdays until February 8. The hearing will then resume again on February 18 and continue until completion.
