The Police will implement the following special traffic arrangements in Tsim Sha Tsui on January 1, 2013 to facilitate the holding of Dragon and Lion Dance Extravaganza 2013:
(A) Road Closure (implemented from 10.30am to 5pm)
1. A section of Canton Road between the access road to Gateway Boulevard and Salisbury Road;
2. A section of Haiphong Road between Canton Road and Hankow Road; and
3. A section of eastbound Peking Road between Canton Road and Kowloon Park Drive.
(B) Traffic Diversion (implemented from 10.30am to 5pm)
1. Traffic along southbound Canton Road heading for Haiphong Road will be diverted via southbound Kowloon Park Drive, eastbound Peking Road and northbound Hankow Road; and
2. Traffic along southbound Canton Road heading for Salisbury Road will be diverted via southbound Kowloon Park Drive.
The road closure and traffic diversion will be made by Police officers on site at the time depending on the traffic and crowd situation. Drivers are urged to take heed of traffic signs and the instruction of Police at the scene.
