Woman charged with murder

Police today (December 29) holding charged a 40-year-old woman with one count of murder and she will appear in Eastern Magistrates' Courts on Monday (December 31).
Police arrested the woman on December 27 in connection with a murder case in which her 32-year-old boyfriend was found lying unconsciously at unit in Yue On House of Yue Wan Estate in Chai Wan and was certified dead by ambulancemen at the scene.
Initial post-mortem examinations revealed that the man died of serious head injuries.
Active investigations by the District Crime Squad of Eastern District are under way.
