The Secretary for the Environment, Mr Wong Kam-sing, will lead a delegation comprising representatives of the Environmental Protection Department and the Civil Engineering and Development Department to attend in Guangzhou tomorrow (December 20) the seventh Joint Liaison Meeting on the delivery of inert construction and demolition materials from Hong Kong to the Mainland.
The Environment Bureau and the State Oceanic Administration take turns to convene regular liaison meetings to discuss the delivery of inert construction and demolition materials from Hong Kong to the Mainland, the associated monitoring work and the work plan for the following year.
The delegation will return to Hong Kong after the meeting tomorrow afternoon.
