Fire Services personnel from the Licensing and Certification Command, Po Lam Fire Station and the Kwun Tong District Fire Safety Ambassadors today (December 17) carried out fire safety publicity activities at restaurants and places of public entertainment in Hau Tak Shopping Centre and at hawker stalls in Hau Tak Estate Market, 2 Sheung Ning Road, Hang Hau, Tseung Kwan O, New Territories. The publicity activities are part of the department's continued efforts to heighten the fire safety awareness of operators of such establishments.
Fire safety advisory letters and leaflets were distributed to the management of the establishments to remind them to take extra fire safety precautions during the festive season.
