Police appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Kowloon City

     Police today (December 11) appealed for information on a fatal traffic accident in Kowloon City on November 26 in which an 11-year-old boy died.

     At 3.16pm on that day, a light goods vehicle driven by a 46-year-old man was travelling along the north bound of Waterloo Road. When approaching outside 75 Waterloo Road, it reportedly knocked down the 11-year-old boy who was crossing the road.

     Sustaining severe head injuries, the boy was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in unconscious state. He was certified dead at 11.10am on December 5.

     Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West are underway.
