"Special Topics Report No. 61" on social statistics published

     The "Special Topics Report No. 61" on social statistics was published by the Census and Statistics Department (C&SD) today (December 7).

     The report contains the findings of a special enquiry on "Job-changing of employed persons" conducted via the General Household Survey by the C&SD during January to March 2012.

     The enquiry targeted at persons aged 15 and over who were employed at the time of enumeration and had changed jobs in Hong Kong during the 12 months before enumeration. Information was collected on their socio-economic characteristics, their reasons for leaving the last job and the working conditions in their last job and present job.

     The report includes findings of the above enquiry with some 20 statistical tables and charts. Users can download the publication free of charge at the website of the C&SD (www.censtatd.gov.hk/hkstat/sub/sp453.jsp?productCode=C0000033).
