Man charged with attempted murder

Police today (November 16) holding charged an 86-year-old man with one count of attempted murder. The case will be heard in Kowloon City Magistrates' Courts in his absence tomorrow (November 17).
The man was arrested yesterday (November 15) suspected to be in connection with the case in which his 85-year-old wife was attacked by a vegetable knife in a flat on 45 Yue Kwong Road, Aberdeen.
Active investigations by the District Crime Squad of Western are under way.
