Members of the public are welcome to visit a two-day exhibition on the Employment Ordinance, the Minimum Wage Ordinance and family-friendly employment practices, organised by the Labour Department in Tung Chung starting tomorrow (November 17).
The exhibition will feature the main provisions of the Employment Ordinance and the Minimum Wage Ordinance, family-friendly employment practices, rights and benefits of foreign domestic helpers, differences between an employee and a self-employed person, and more. Related publications and souvenirs will be distributed and a short video on family-friendly employment practices will also be shown.
The exhibition will be held at Sales Venue A and B, 1/F, Fu Tung Plaza, Fu Tung Estate, Tung Chung, Lantau Island from 11am to 6pm, November 17 and 18. Admission is free.
