Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Wong Tai Sin this morning (November 12) in which a 57-year-old man was killed.
About 10.20am, a public light bus (PLB) driven by a 53-year-old woman was travelling along Choi Hung Road towards Mong Kok. When approaching the junction of Choi Hung Road and Tseuk Luk Street, it reportedly knocked down the 57-year-old man who was crossing the road.
Sustaining serious injuries to his pelvis, the man was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in unconscious state and was later certified dead at 4.48pm.
The case will be handed over to the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East.
