Sha Tin District Council by-election turnout (as at 11.30am) (with photos)

     As at 11.30am today (November 4), 697 of the 11,186 registered electors of the On Tai Constituency had cast their votes in the Sha Tin District Council by-election, representing a turnout of 6.23 per cent. (The voter turnout figures are only for temporary reference.)

     The polling station at Tak Sun Secondary School will remain open until 10.30pm.

     The dedicated polling station at Tin Sum Police Station will remain open until 10.30pm. It has been set up for electors in the On Tai Constituency remanded or detained by law enforcement agencies other than the Correctional Services Department (CSD) to cast their ballots.

     Two dedicated polling stations have also been also set up in penal institutions for electors in the constituency who are imprisoned or remanded in the CSD's custody to cast their votes in their respective penal institutions. For security reasons, the polling hours are from 9am to 4pm.
