The Transport Department's personalised vehicle registration marks scheme has raised more than $240 million since its introduction in 2006, letting car owners reveal their true character in a few craftily arranged letters and/or numbers.
Nearly 16,000 marks have been sold through 67 auctions. news.gov.hk interviewed a successful bidder, popular classical musician Suen Wing, to learn what prompted her to raise the bidding paddle.
