Police are investigating a murder case in Yau Ma Tei today (October 24) morning in which a 49-year-old woman was killed.
About 11am, a woman made a report to the Police that her female neighbour was found lying unconscious on a bed inside a unit at 226 Shanghai Street.
Police officers arrived the scene and located the body of the 49-year-old woman. She sustained multiple cut wounds on her neck and cut wounds on her arm.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of the death.
The case is classified as murder and active investigations by the Regional Crime Unit of Kowloon West are underway.
