The Secretary for Security, Mr Lai Tung-kwok, visited Tsuen Wan District today (October 19) to learn more about the latest developments there. He also exchanged views with District Councillors, members of the District Fight Crime Committee and young people.
Accompanied by the District Officer (Tsuen Wan), Miss Jenny Yip, Mr Lai visited Chung On Street and learned more about the Chung On Street Revitalisation Programme. He was briefed by the Police on the measures taken to improve public security in the district.
He also met with the District Councillors, exchanged views on law and order matters and other community issues with them, and explained government policies related to security matters.
Mr Lai then visited Tsuen Wan Youth S.P.O.T. of the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups where he chatted and exchanged views with young people.
