Police are investigating a traffic accident in Kowloon City this morning (October 17) in which a 25-year-old man died.
At about 6.30am, a medium goods vehicle (MGV) driven by a 63-year-old man and a motorcycle driven by a 25-year-old man were travelling along Lion Rock Tunnel Road towards Sha Tin. When approaching near the entrance of Lion Rock Tunnel, the motorcycle reportedly lost control and collided with the MGV.
The motorcyclist sustained serious head injuries and was certified dead at the scene.
The MGV driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and is being detained for further enquiries.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West are underway.
