Police today (October 6) arrested a 15-year-old Non-Ethnic Chinese (NEC) male, who was suspected to be in connection with the murder case in which a 19-year-old NEC man died in a basketball court near Nam Pin Wai, Yuen Long on September 23.
Police arrested the man in Yuen Long in the small hours today. The arrestee is being detained pending further enquiries.
Police had earlier arrested eight NEC men in suspected connection with the case. Three of them, aged 20 and 24, were jointly holding charged with one count of murder while the remaining arrestees, aged between 21 and 25, were released on bail and are required to report back to Police in early October.
Investigations by the Regional Crime Unit of New Territories North are under way.
