The following special traffic arrangements will be implemented from 7.15am to 11am on October 7 (Sunday) to facilitate the holding of a charity run in Tsuen Wan:
- The slow lane of westbound Castle Peak Road between Bayview Garden and Long Beach Gardens will be closed to all vehicular traffic;
- A section of westbound Castle Peak Road (New Ting Kau) between Long Beach Gardens and the Airport Core Programme Exhibition Centre will be closed to all vehicular traffic;
- Vehicles cannot turn right from southbound Yau Lai Road to Castle Peak Road; and
- Eastbound carriageway of Castle Peak Road (New Ting Kau) between the Airport Core Programme Exhibition Centre and Long Beach Gardens will be converted to two-way traffic.
Actual implementation of the traffic arrangements will be made depending on traffic conditions in the area. Motorists are advised to drive with care and patience and follow the instruction of the Police at scene.
