The Central District Blood Donor Centre (CDC) of the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service (BTS) will resume services with a new look next Monday (October 8) following the completion of refurbishment work. The centre will provide a cozier environment and a better service for blood donors.
To celebrate the re-opening, members of the public who give blood at the CDC from October 8 to 20 will receive a T-shirt with the logo "EVERY BLOOD DONOR IS A HERO" while stocks last.
The CDC is situated at 1/F, Tung Ming Building, 40-42 Des Voeux Road C, Central (Central MTR station Exit C) and its opening hours are from 11am to 7pm from Mondays to Saturdays. It is closed on Sundays and public holidays

Additionally, an exhibition titled "60th Anniversary of Blood Transfusion Service" will be staged in the Lobby Area, D/F, Queensway Government Offices from October 11 to 19. Members of the public who are interested in the development of BTS and its blood collection services in Hong Kong over the past six decades are invited to visit the exhibition.
