Police yesterday (September 28) arrested three men suspected to be in connection with the murder case in which a 19-year-old Non-Ethnic Chinese (NEC) man died in a basketball court near Nam Pin Wai, Yuen Long on September 23.
The three NEC men, aged between 21 and 24, were arrested in Central yesterday. They will be detained overnight pending further enquiries.
Police had earlier arrested five NEC men in suspected connection with the case. Two of them, aged 20 and 24, were jointly holding charged with one count of murder while the remaining arrestees, aged between 21 and 25, were released on bail and are required to report back to Police in early October.
Investigations by the Regional Crime Unit of New Territories North are under way.
