Proposed amendments to construction works at She Shan, Ha Tin Liu Ha and Sheung Tin Liu Ha, Tai Po, gazetted

     The Government published in the Gazette today (September 28) the proposed amendments to the construction of access roads, maintenance access and car parks at She Shan, Ha Tin Liu Ha and Sheung Tin Liu Ha, Tai Po, to reflect the latest design of the project works.

     The proposed amendments are as follows:

(i) revision of the proposed limit of works area;

(ii) deletion of a section of the proposed access road approximately 380 metres long with associated footpaths from Sheung Tin Liu Ha to the existing stream;

(iii) deletion of the proposed access road approximately 140 metres long with associated footpaths near Ha Tin Liu Ha;

(iv) deletion of the proposed car park at the end of the proposed access road in (iii);

(v) reposition of the proposed car park from the end of the proposed access road in (ii) to the north of the existing stream;

(vi) revision of four proposed items: permanent closure and reconstruction of sections of the existing footpaths as carriageway, permanent closure of sections of the existing footpaths, temporary closure and reconstruction of sections of the existing footpaths, and temporary closure of sections of the existing footpaths;

(vii) deletion of the proposed resumption of a number of lots;

(viii) amendment of the portions of land to be resumed;

(ix) construction of sections of carriageway and footpaths;

(x) permanent closure and reconstruction of existing footpaths as car park/fill slope;

(xi) deletion of the proposed reprovision of the existing weirs;

(xii) deletion of the proposed construction of retaining walls, pedestrian access ramps and a box culvert;

(xiii) revision of the proposed staircases; and

(xiv) revision of the proposed ancillary works including drainage, slope and landscaping works.

     The amendment plan and scheme are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:
