The Leisure and Cultural Services Department today (September 21) announced that the opening hours of all public libraries on the Mid-Autumn Festival (September 30, Sunday) will be the same as those for public holidays, with the exception of Hong Kong Central Library, which will close at 5pm, and all mobile libraries and South Lamma and North Lamma Public Libraries, which are closed on Sundays.
Apart from Lek Yuen, Peng Chau, South Lamma, Tai O and Tin Shui Wai North Public Libraries, which are closed on Mondays, the opening hours of public libraries on the day following the Mid-Autumn Festival (October 1) will be the same as those for public holidays.
