OFNAA to promote "Healthy Information for a Healthy Mind" through radio drama
**********************************************************

The Office for Film, Newspaper and Article Administration (OFNAA) and Commercial Radio FM903 (CR2 FM903) will jointly present a new radio drama, "A Passionate Movement", starting from October 16 (Tuesday). The radio drama aims to use an interesting and less formal approach to remind youths about staying away from unhealthy information and further enhance public understanding of the Control of Obscene and Indecent Articles Ordinance (COIAO).

Starring rapper MC Jin, CR2 FM903 DJ Donald, singers Jonathan Wong and Robynn & Kendy, the eight-episode Cantonese radio drama will be broadcast in the programme "Talk of the Town" on CR2 FM903 at 10.07pm every Tuesday to Friday from October 16 to 26.

The radio drama "A Passionate Movement" depicts how five university students face adversity in life with courage. With ambition and passion for music, they persistently produce music in a fresh and healthy style. Finally, their dreams come true and they successfully publish a mini-album and hold their own concert.

After each episode, the audience will get the chance to win fabulous prizes by participating in quiz games through a thematic website (www.my903.com/my903/ofnaa_2012).

A healthy rap songwriting contest for secondary and primary schools will be jointly organised by OFNAA, CR2 FM903 and the Hong Kong Evangelical Church Social Service Ltd to further promote healthy information. Interested schools are invited to enrol with the Hong Kong Evangelical Church Social Service Ltd between December 2012 and February 2013.

Each year, OFNAA organises a series of public education programmes to promote public understanding of the COIAO, including the Healthy Mobile Phone/Tablet Apps Nomination Programme; the Meritorious Websites Contest; the Healthy Internet Video Contest; the Healthy Information Student Ambassadors Scheme; a roving drama programme for schools; drawing, slogan and poster colouring competitions; and over 100 talks on the proper use of the Internet for students and parents.
